The Official Slo-Pitch Organization Provincial Championship Registration starting. Applications for the 2009 Provincials are now available. The dates and divisions are here. Teams may qualify through either the tournament program or the league program. Tournament Directors will distribute the information at the various events. The League Presidents will be receiving the passwords for their team in the next couple weeks and will notify their teams then. Several important changes for the Provincials were made by the members at the last General Meeting - 1. In Mens E division, a player may now play on both a league team and a tournament team. (No special scheduling will be made.) 2. Coed - teams do not have to have equal numbers of males and females extra players in the lineup. 3. As a result of a survey, all Coed divisions will use the regular 12 inch ball. 2009 Elimination Tournament The 2009 Elimination Tournament to select teams for the 2010 Softball Canada Canadian Championships will be held July 11 to July 13 at Slo-Pitch City in Dorchester. New this year is a separate division for Mens B teams who along with the MAsters divisions will be competing for berths to the USSSA World Tournaments. Click here for details and an application. SPO Masters Circuit is off and running. The first event of the inaugural Masters Circuit is now complete. 34 teams met at Slo-Pitch City to compete in 7 divisions of Masters and Senior teams.
